Close on the heels of Nayantara being removed as the star brand ambassador of the Chennai Super Kings IPL team, the latest buzz doing rounds is that Trisha has been roped in her place.
Trisha, a popular actress in Kollywood and Tollywood, is awaiting the release of ‘Kuruvi’ opposite Vijay. Though she could not be contacted, sources close to the actress confirmed that she would turn up for the cricket matches being played by the Chennai Super Kings.
Trisha, Vijay, Bhavana, Sadha and Reema Sen are expected to turn up for Saturday’s match at MA Chidambaram Stadium where Chennai Super Kings will take on Kolkata Knight Riders.

South Cinema’s numero-uno actress Nayanatara is in Hyderabad in connection with the shooting for her latest Tamil film Kuselan.
While on the sets, Nayanatara suffered sunstroke and collapsed. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and advised to take rest for a couple of days.

Actor Madhavan has denied reports appeared in few sections of the press that that his forthcoming film ‘Yavarum Nalam’ has been dropped.
‘It is proceeding on the right direction and would hit the screens this August’, he said.
‘It is a bi-lingual and would be released simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil’, he said.
Stating that the film is a thriller based on the incidents happening on an apartment complex, Madhavan said, ‘director Vikram has shaped up the film in a such a way to make the audience glued to their seats.’
On his next movie in which he is slated to act opposite Sruthy Haasan, daughter of actor Kamal Haasan, he said, ’since Nishikanth, the director of the film is busy with his Hindi project, we will start the work of our Tamil project in a couple of months.

Vishnuvardhan, who proved his mettle as a director to reckon with in Kollywood rendering back-to-back hits in ‘Arindhum Ariyamalum’, ‘Pattiyal’ and ‘Billa’, has penned an action-packed storyline for Arya.
Initially Suriya was slated to play the lead role. At the last moment, Arya replaced him. After thorough search, Vishnuvardhan has cast popular Telugu actor J D Chakravarthy as baddie in the film.
The tall-bearded actor is a name to reckon with in Tollywood. He reportedly agreed the offer gleefully.
Nirav Shah will crank the camera while Yuvanshankar Raja will score the music.
