Trisha replaces Nayantara?

Close on the heels of Nayantara being removed as the star brand ambassador of the Chennai Super Kings IPL team, the latest buzz doing rounds is that Trisha has been roped in her place.

Trisha, a popular actress in Kollywood and Tollywood, is awaiting the release of ‘Kuruvi’ opposite Vijay. Though she could not be contacted, sources close to the actress confirmed that she would turn up for the cricket matches being played by the Chennai Super Kings.

Trisha, Vijay, Bhavana, Sadha and Reema Sen are expected to turn up for Saturday’s match at MA Chidambaram Stadium where Chennai Super Kings will take on Kolkata Knight Riders.

I love to work with Ajith

Director Gautham Menon, after completing ‘Varanam Aayiram’, will direct Ajith for a movie.

According to Gautham, ‘ I am thrilled to work with Ajith. He is one of the handsome and stylish actors in Tamil cinema. He amazed me with his dedication towards the work’.

The movie to be produced by Sivaji Films, will be an action packed entertainer, says Gautham.

Nayana Tara Faints on Kuselan Sets

South Cinema’s numero-uno actress Nayanatara is in Hyderabad in connection with the shooting for her latest Tamil film Kuselan.

While on the sets, Nayanatara suffered sunstroke and collapsed. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and advised to take rest for a couple of days.

Heat beat Nayantara

Hot girl Nayantara now really knows how it is to be hot and not just considered hot.

Nayantara collapsed on the sets of the bilingual film ‘Sathyam’ in Hyderabad.  Vishal is the hero of the bilingual film.

The sultry actress riding high after the mega success of films like ‘Billa’ and the recently released ‘Yaradi Nee Mohini’ will be seen in some big projects like Vijay’s next film with Prabhu Deva, Super Star Rajnikanth’s ‘Kuselan’ and Ajith’s ‘Aegan’ collapsed due to the heat wave.

Subsequently she was admitted to Kamineni hospital.

‘It’s not dropped’, says Madhavan

Actor Madhavan has denied reports appeared in few sections of the press that that his forthcoming film ‘Yavarum Nalam’ has been dropped.

‘It is proceeding on the right direction and would hit the screens this August’, he said.

‘It is a bi-lingual and would be released simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil’, he said.

Stating that the film is a thriller based on the incidents happening on an apartment complex, Madhavan said, ‘director Vikram has shaped up the film in a such a way to make the audience glued to their seats.’

On his next movie in which he is slated to act opposite Sruthy Haasan, daughter of actor Kamal Haasan, he said, ’since Nishikanth, the director of the film is busy with his Hindi project, we will start the work of our Tamil project in a couple of months.

‘Dasavadharam’ everything great about it

So the great day is finally near.

A whole stadium having the capacity of 5000 people will witness the launch of the music by none other than one of the most popular actor in the world Jackie Chan.

Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan will receive the audio C.D. from Jackie Chan.

The function will be graced by the Chief Minister of Tamilnadu K.Karunanidhi who is chief guest of the programe.

Malayalam Superstars Mammootty , Illayathalapathy Vijay,  M.P. and Actress Hema Malini, B-Town heart throb Mallika Sherawat and Kollywood pin up girl Asin,  are some of the hot shot celebrities who will be attending the grand event at Nehru indoor Stadium in Chennai.

By what has till now come up in the media about the film, everyone who is keenly waiting the release of this movie knows about the peculiarities that it is going to offer.

Right from the never ever experienced before story of the film and a complex story-telling technique, the ten different roles in a single movie by Kamal Haasan, the substantial use of visual effects and graphics, a perfect replica model of the house of America’s President The White House and even a tsunami recreated in the sets for a particular portion of the ‘Dasavadharam’, the colossal film directed by K.S.Ravikumar and produced by Oscar Ravichandran is going to be a master piece and one gem of a show reel experience for film lovers.

Kamal Haasan himself stating that ‘Dasavadharam’ combines the humor and fun of ‘Michael Madana Kamarana’, the sadness of ‘Mahanadhi’ and the emotions of ‘Thevar Magan’ and ‘Hey Ram’ have increased the curiosity about the films content among the members of the audience.

But for now the wait for this magnum opus film is getting too hard to handle.

‘Urchagam’ for Sherin

Actress Sherin, who bounced back with ‘Urchagam’, is in joy now. Though the movie could not make it big at the box-office, she has enough offers pouring in her kitty.

She has completed shooting for a movie opposite S J Suryah. Besides she is playing a prominent role in an action-packed venture titled ‘Poova Thalaya’. The shooting for ‘Poova Thalaya’ is currently in Chennai.

The young girl, says, ‘ I am happy that I am back on the right direction here. I am getting some interesting offers in both Tamil and Telugu. Hopefully I would go on to make it big here’.

Asin ready for the D-day

With just a couple of days left for the audio launch of the magnum-opus ‘Dasavadharam’, Asin is all thrilled and is eagerly awaiting the D-day.

‘I have done a prominent character in ‘Dasavadharam’. It is very close to my heart. Sharing the screen with such a great actor in indeed a great privilege. I am very much thrilled that I am going to see Jackie Chan and other prominent personalities during the audio launch,’ says Asin.

Asin said, ‘I am just biting my nails with all eagerness.’

JD Chakravarthy in ‘Sarvam’?

After ‘Billa’, director Vishnuvardhan is ready to kick off his next venture titled ‘Sarvam’. It would star Arya and Trisha in the lead roles.

Vishnuvardhan, who proved his mettle as a director to reckon with in Kollywood rendering back-to-back hits in ‘Arindhum Ariyamalum’, ‘Pattiyal’ and ‘Billa’, has penned an action-packed storyline for Arya.

Initially Suriya was slated to play the lead role. At the last moment, Arya replaced him. After thorough search, Vishnuvardhan has cast popular Telugu actor J D Chakravarthy as baddie in the film.

The tall-bearded actor is a name to reckon with in Tollywood. He reportedly agreed the offer gleefully.

Nirav Shah will crank the camera while Yuvanshankar Raja will score the music.
