Asin ready for the D-day

With just a couple of days left for the audio launch of the magnum-opus ‘Dasavadharam’, Asin is all thrilled and is eagerly awaiting the D-day.

‘I have done a prominent character in ‘Dasavadharam’. It is very close to my heart. Sharing the screen with such a great actor in indeed a great privilege. I am very much thrilled that I am going to see Jackie Chan and other prominent personalities during the audio launch,’ says Asin.

Asin said, ‘I am just biting my nails with all eagerness.’

Asin moves to Bollywood full time

Beautiful and talented Actress Asin is taking voluntary retirement from South film industry and hopefully joins Bollywood full time, Likewise Sridevi in the mid 80’s who quit Tamil films at her peak and became a top actress in Bollywood.

As per media reports Asin has signed up a 1 year deal with a leading celebrity management company in mumbai for Rs. 8 Crore!
Celebrity Management Company will manage her dates and negotiate with her producers. Asin’s featuring Hindi Ghajini with Aamir Khan will be over by February end and released soon.
It has been more than 20 years since a south Indian girl has made way into Bollywood. We wish Asin to fill the gap.

Asin and Nayanthara - heroines to watch out for in 2008!

India Today in its latest issue on February 4 , released “Mood of the nation poll” results- in which India Today named south Indian sizzling actresses Asin and Nayanthara as the two out of the five heroines to watch out for in 2008!

“Mood of the nation poll” is conducted by AC Nielsen-ORG MARG in 19 states. According to the poll- “Who will be the No. 1 heroine this year? (2008)“.

Aishwarya Rai scored the highest with 20 %
Kajol came 2nd with 5 %
Rani Mukherjee, Asin and Nayanthara in 3rd position with 4 % each!

‘Dasavadharam’ for Tamil New Year

It is confirmed that Ulaga Nayagan Kamal Haasan’s mega movie ‘Dasavadharam’ will be released on Tamil New Year’s Day. The shooting of the movie is completed and the computer graphics work is going on in a full swing.

Director Ravikumar and the hero Kamal Haasan are determined to make the technical values of the film to be on par with that of international standards. They have brought an expert in computer graphics from the USA to supervise the computer graphics works for the movie.

‘Dasavadharam’ is said to be a hilarious movie featuring Kamal in ten different roles.

The audio will be released by March.  It is strongly rumored that Jackie Chan would attend the function and launch the audio.
